Born in 1950, Carlos Rocha grew up in a deeply artistic environment shaped by his architect father Julio Victor Rocha and figures such as Vicente Manansala, Victorio Edades, and Onib Olmedo. He began his career as a sculptor in the 1970s and 1980s, focusing on movement and the dignity of work through figures like fishermen and musicians.

In the 1990s, he turned to painting, developing a Fauvist style marked by vivid color and a celebratory view of life. In 2022, he expanded into digital work with a debut NFT collection.
